Current Panelists
  • Alyssa – A two-time IRONMAN Wisconsin finisher who completed both races as a college student. Now a full-time engineer and mom to an almost 5-year-old, she will offer perspective on training solo vs. training within a community.
  • Chris - Physical Therapist helping athletes stay strong and pain-free throughout training.
  • Elizabeth – Went from triathlon rookie to 70.3 finisher in just over a year and is now preparing for Des Moines 70.3. A pharmacist and avid traveler, she will share how to successfully train for an IRONMAN without letting it take over your life.
  • Mike – A dedicated triathlete with countless races under his belt, including multiple 70.3s and IRONMAN Wisconsin 2022 (the one with all-day rain!). With Des Moines 70.3 on the horizon, he brings insight into balancing training with a demanding career as a pilot.

Functional Dryland for Swim and Dive Teams

Orono High School Girls Swimming and Diving
Wayzata High School Girls Swimming and Diving
Most dryland programs designed for swimmers and divers typically based on the personal experience of coaches during their own athletic careers or on generalized strength training methods employed in other sports.  After 2 years of working with the Girls' Swimming and Diving teams at Orono High School and Wayzata High School, utilizing a program catered to the needs of swimmers and divers, we are now offering a program for all teams.
  • Developed in collaboration with Chris Meyer, a Sports Physical Therapist
  • Specialized approach that caters to the needs of swimmers and divers
  • Goal is to optimize movement and improve overall strength
  • 14-week periodized program that includes 3 workouts per week
  • Recommended for high school and club teams
