Functional Dryland for Swim and Dive Teams​

Most dryland programs designed for swimmers and divers typically based on the personal experience of coaches during their own athletic careers or on generalized strength training methods employed in other sports.  After 2 years of working with the Girls' Swimming and Diving teams at Orono High School and Wayzata High School, utilizing a program catered to the needs of swimmers and divers, we are now offering a program for all teams.
  • Developed in collaboration with Chris Meyer, a Sports Physical Therapist 
  • Specialized approach that caters to the needs of swimmers and divers
  • Goal is to optimize movement and improve overall strength
  • 14-week periodized program that includes 3 workouts per week
  • Recommended for high school and club teams​​

Try Masters Swimming

Join the Adult Cardio Swim group for a trial workout
This group is great for current and former competitive swimmers, triathletes, and fitness swimmers
Workouts are organized in lanes based on ability
The Performance Ready Adult Cardio Swim group swims in Hopkins:
9:00-10:00 am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and
​6:00-7:00 am on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
Hope you will join us!​
Register for a trial day with the Performance Ready Adult Cardio Swim group then contact Krisie with the day and time you would like to join the group for a trial workout​

Kids Swim Bike Run

Performance Ready partnered with Orono Community Ed for the 2023 Kids Swim Bike Run on Thursday, August 10
at the Orono Pool and Schumann/Education Link parking lot​

​In 2023:
  • 50 kids participated, ranging in age from 5 to 13
  • 3 categories offered with varying durations for each discipline
  • 25+ volunteers
  • Orono Girls' Swimming and Diving team volunteered with the captains leading each of the 3 categories
  • Swam counterclockwise around the perimeter of the pool
  • Biked and ran around the parking lot​
  • Each participant received a medal and post race food
  • ​Countless smiles!

Performance Ready has 5 teams, 17 individuals, participating in the 2023 Lake George Virtual 32-Mile Swim.
