Krisie Melsen - Founder, Strength and Endurance Coach
Background
Coaching has been a part of Krisie's life since 1996.  She began her coaching career as a part time swim coach throughout her time going to school, working in sales and as a business analyst.  In 2016, Krisie seized the opportunity to pursue a career in coaching full time.  This opportunity allowed her to expand her scope to include strength and endurance coaching.  Krisie is a graduate of the College of Saint Benedict.  She is a United States Masters National champion and All American, and a Minnesota Masters Swimming state record holder.  Krisie completed IRONMAN Wisconsin in 2018.

Krisie is passionate about helping those around her become the best version of themselves.    
Success
Through attentive listening, creative thinking, and attention to detail, Krisie helps individuals set realistic yet challenging goals, map out a plan, keep accountable, and make adjustments as life dictates.  The success that Krisie has seen from her coaching experience includes:
  • Working with individuals to cross the IRONMAN finish line while maintaining their other life commitments
  • Helping high school athletes gain strength, speed, and coordination to perform at their best including top state athletes in swimming, volleyball, soccer, cross country, basketball, track, baseball
  • Watching adults and kids develop confidence in their abilities to achieve results and perform at peak levels
Coaching Style
Krisie values an integrated coaching style that takes into account the whole individual.  Through this holistic approach, she tailors her programs to the variety of clients that she coaches.  In line with this approach she values collaboration with her clients to set goals, analyze progress, and celebrate success.  ​From Krisie's life experiences, she recognizes that while her client's health and wellness goals are important to them, these goals are not everything.  This recognition allows Krisie to help her clients keep their values and goals in perspective and therefore maintain a balanced lifestyle.  Krisie's passion to help others perform at their full potential is evident through her enthusiasm while working with clients and watching them meet their goals.
